Hi Arthur, I fully understand the inconvenience you have encountered. Before we go further, I'd appreciate your help to clarify the following questions: 1. Do you mean Internet Explorer cannot be launched or it cannot access any website? 2. Have you made sure the connection is set correctly? You can first try System Restore under Start Accessories System Tools to revert the computer to previous status and check the result.

Have you tried System Restore? You can try it first, if that does not work, please make sure the computer is connected to the Internet and use the following method to launch IE: To start Internet Explorer 7 in "No Add-ons" mode, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). If the problem does not occur after you use this method, use Manage Add-ons to determine which add-ons are causing the problem. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Tools on the Internet Explorer toolbar, point to Manage Add-ons, and then click Enable or Disable Add-ons. 2. Click the name of the add-on at the top of the Enabled list, and then click Disable in the Settings area. 3. Click OK, and then test Internet Explorer. 4. If the problem still occurs, open Manage Add-ons, enable the add-on that you disabled in step 2, and then repeat steps 1 to 3 for the next add-on in the Enabled list. 5. Repeat steps 1 to 3 until the problem is resolved or until all the add-ons have been tested. If you have other third party browser, you can also check if that works so that we can narrow down if this is an IE issue or connection issue.

Hi Arthur, what do you mean by 3G card works great but IE will not start? Do you mean the connection is fine and IE cannot navigate to other website (or do you mean IE cannot be launched)? If you use wired network, what's the result? Can you open/launch IE? Can you navigate website? Please let me know so that we can troubleshoot on network side or IE side. Thank you.

Hi Arthur, this issue should be caused by router/modem settings. We need to go to router/modem setting page, usually \\192.168.0.1 . We need to make sure the following settings are configured correctly: 1. DHCP is turned on or we need to manually assign IP address on each computer. Make sure the computer can get a valid IP address. 2. DNS/Default gateway should be set correctly. You can also manually set DNS server on the computer. As these settings are vary from different ISP, location, you can contact your ISP or local administrator to get the correct settings.
